SOME FIVE YEARS AGO......If the Lord had not been on our side....PSALM 124

When a handful of people meet at Dacula onNovember 6th 2011, hardly did they know that their endeavour would thrive. Having reluctantly departed from others who strangely wondered why, this group of Christian set their face like a flint and decided there was no looking back. After all our Lord said he who takes the plough and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom.

Five years on that young Fellowship is a power called CHRIST THE KING GHANA METHODIST CHURCH. This young Society has seen it all and with God's power survived. The impact is massive and ears keep tingling with each news. Its ripples beginning from Dacula and to Winder will go beyond the State, the Lord has promised, after all the vision from the Lord from the onset was "A Light to the Nations".

This Society is to say the least a Church-Family, where sharing and bearing each others' burden  are common place. Fellowship and love are blended into a garment for all. Times of hardship and disagreement reared their ugly heads but faith and love plunged them down the dust.

As we celebrate  King Jesus and His victories through mortals for the last 5 years we aim at telling all who will listen that this Society has come to stay. When it began many mocked as did the enemies of Israel in Nehemiah's time saying "What they are building--even a fox climbing up on it would break down their wall of stones!". God has proved faithful Who gave the founders the go-ahead following much prayer.

One cannot help but mention that the message the young Church passed on to its critics is same as the Apostles' story had as found in Acts 5 as follows:
Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! The God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead—whom you killed by hanging him on a cross. God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

WE GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR FIVE YEARS....OF VICTORY AND MORE VICTORY TILL JESUS COMES!
CHRIST NTSI.....Y3Y3 ADEHYE!
CHRIST THE KING....ROYALS!!!
